Fused Art Glass

All my glass items are hand crafted original designs. I use special art glass meant to be fired in a kiln. I cut a shape out of a flat piece of glass, then I use compatible glass frit and powders to create a design on the flat piece of glass. After the design is finished I place the glass in the kill and fire it melting the glass into a solid piece of glass. After the glass cools for about 12 hours, I open the kiln for a look at the new piece of glass. I then remove the glass and place back in the kiln on a slumping mold and start the firing process all over again. After the glass is cooled for the second time I remove it and start adding the finishing touches, and oula my object is finished.
